A Commentary On “Mary Kissel: Justice’s New War Against Lenders”
Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012Hi Mary,
Your column solicits fear in my heart, at how some people may react. You and I both know that these struggling communities are in the hearts of our cities, Kansas City for example. Look at Cleaver’s Green Zone; these loans should be capped, but they should not be withheld. Their are real estate problems in our real estate market, created by people who thought they were rich. More capital is at risk in homes estimated >$350 than all those under combined. This could be a good move to restart the economy because those homes need major investments. My house would need an upgrade after a 30-yr mortgage too; most are close to paid for – lot price alone.
